The orientation at university of Delhi!

Finally, the D day is here!
Time for the first day of your new phase which is generally mentioned as orientation day in Delhi university.
All your hard work, running around in scorching heat, pays off as you arrive in your college, those rushy hours during admission will now make you feel good when you will step into your desired college.
Though the race of admission is still not over but Delhi university is all set to welcome the freshers with a bang.
Orientation is all about you and your college, you interact with the teachers, and your department’s professors.
Most colleges have their orientation tomorrow, on 20 July, 2016 Wednesday.
LSR, SRCC, Hansraj, SGTB Khalsa, Delhi college of arts and commerce, Deshbandhu college have their orientation on Wednesday 20 July 2016
While Gargi college and various other colleges have their orientation on 21 July 2016, Thursday.
College like SRCC also provides lunch for its students. Every college has its own specified day for orientation every year.

From academics to extracurricular activities orientation aims to inform you everything about the subject you will study in next three years and it provides you with a description of various activities of your college. Some colleges also give timetable and identity cards on the orientation day only.One can also download the time table from the respective website of college.
Every college has its own website and every information is provided on the website, you need not run to college windows again and again for small things like schedules, time tables, e brochures, any new update in college. Delhi university has a lot to offer you, it’s only that you should know how to make use of the opportunity. Every college has cultural societies like dramatics , fashion, debate, music and various others. You can take your parents along too, show them how astounding your college is.
Most of you have this question in mind that is it necessary to attend the orientation. The answer is yes! A big yes freshers.
Orientation is the first step towards your three years journey. Attend your college’s orientation and clarify all your doubts, ask all the questions to your professors. Socialise as much as you can, and exchange Numbers.
